JOHN TECCA

Founder & President

John Tecca was born and raised in Livingston, Montana, and attended UCLA in Southern California. He received his certificate in dental technology in 1990. John opened Aesthetic Oral Arts in Livingston in June of 1990 and has been serving the dental community nationwide ever since. This unique dental lab is situated in historic Livingston, a city that is the original Gateway to Yellowstone National Park. The majestic Rocky Mountains that surround it has brought a great deal of inspiration to him personally and professionally.

Deeply passionate about his work, John takes great pride in fabricating exceptional, high-quality restorations. He has attended several live patient courses with Dr. Ed McLaren, Dr. Frank Spears, P.A.C. Live, Dr. Rhys Spoor, and Mark Willis M.D.T. He has also studied advanced dentistry techniques with some of the finest clinicians and master technicians in the world, such as Dr. John Kois, Dr. Frank Spears, Matt Roberts, Lee Culp, Brad Jones, Don Cornell, Willi Geller, Uwe Brosamie, Dr. Tom Trinkner, Dr. David Hornbrook, and Dr. Peter Dawson.

John is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He continually attends continuing education courses. Specific programs include: Kois Center, Dawson Center for Advanced Study, Seattle Study Club, Team Aesthetic Seminars by Matt Roberts, IPS Empress Programs, 3M ESPE Lava, Nobel Biocare Advanced Implant Dentistry, Straumann, Zimmer, e.max, Vident Porcelain procedures, BEGO Certifications, and Ivoclar North American Centers for Advanced Education courses. He has certifications from 3M ESPE Lava, Microstar, Las Vegas Institute, and Lee Culp’s Institute for Oral Art and Design.

John is just as passionate about the outdoors as he is about dentistry and is inspired by Montana’s natural beauty and everything it has to offer. John and his wife, Linda, have six children and twelve grandchildren whom they enjoy spending time with. He loves to hunt, fish, and recreate in Montana with family and friends.

Our Technician Team

MIKE GIAO
CAD/CAM Technician

Mike brings 45 years of experience as a dental technician, including more than 20 years with Aesthetic Oral Arts. He studied Dental Laboratory Technology at Pasadena City College in California and graduated with honors.

  • Mike’s duties at Aesthetic Oral Arts include CAD/CAM design, digital model creation, surgical guide fabrication, implant abutment design, and aesthetic design. After moving his family from North Idaho, he has been working with Aesthetic Oral Arts since 2008! He is married to his wife, Teri and they have 2 daughters in their twenties. Mike is currently the President of the Montana Airstream Club, a local unit of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International. In his spare time, Mike enjoys fishing, hunting, and camping.

ISABEL MOUGHAMIAN
Ceramist

Isabel was born and raised in Idaho and has lived in Montana for ten years. As an artist and angler, she spends most of her free time on the Yellowstone River.

  • Isabel has used her appreciation for the outdoors to create the look of natural teeth for Aesthetic Oral Arts since 2025.

RON PHILBROOK CDT
Denture Manager

Ron is a CDT in Cast Partials and has 30 years of experience as a high-level Removable Prosthetics Technician. He earned his CDT in 1999.

  • Ron received an undergraduate degree from The University of Florida in 1996. He began his career as a dental technician the same year. He quickly developed a passion for dental technology and is even more passionate about it 30 years later.

    Ron spends countless hours in clinical continuing education courses. His extensive clinical knowledge allows him to be a valuable resource to his clinicians. He spends much of his day treatment planning, and helping clinicians troubleshoot, plan, and sequence patient cases.

    Ron participates in Removable Prosthetics competitions and placed in the top 15 in the international KunstZahnWerk competition in Cologne Germany where his work was displayed at the International Dental Society meeting. He also finished 4 th in the Art of the Denture North American competition and had his work displayed at the Chicago mid-winter meeting.

    When not at the bench fabricating prosthetics, Ron is an avid trout fisherman, he also enjoys hunting, gardening, and spending time with his wife Becky and their 4 daughters.

DUSTIN DODGE
Ceramist

Dustin has been a part of the Aesthetic Oral Arts Team since 2001 and feels blessed to have such a great career! Dustin was born and raised in Livingston and loves the beautiful state of Montana.

  • In Dustin’s free time he enjoys spending it with his twin boys, rock hounding, ATV riding, woodworking, and hiking around in the mountains.

CRAE O’CONNER
Model / CAD/CAM Designer

Crae enjoys working and playing in her hometown. After retiring from costuming films and commercials, she enjoys bringing her attention to detail and care to every case in the lab.

  • When not working she enjoys floating the Yellowstone, looking for fossils, studying Montana’s prehistory and practicing Irish with her husband, son and dog. She also can be found sewing last minute medieval costumes for a renaissance faire.

DAVID PLANT
CAD/CAM Specialist

Always knowing he wanted to work in the field of Dentistry, David started his career in 1979 as a model room tech. Since then, he has gained industry experience in all facets of the dental arts lab.

  • Currently, David thoughtfully designs cases as a CAD/CAM Technician, mills custom abutments, and helps train new hires.

    David enjoys the ever-changing world of the industry and continuing to add to his repertoire of knowledge.  

    In his free time, he looks forward to road trips back to Utah to visit his children and grandkids with his partner.  He is a Cigar aficionado and enjoys watching Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games and generally taking it easy.

RYAN BAKER
Ceramist

Ryan has a passion for quality craftsmanship and looks forward to working alongside the AOA team and contributing to the exceptional service and restorations our clients have come to expect.

  • Ryan is enjoying the great weather and sunshine that Livingston area offers, mountain views, and beautiful sunrises. He’s been an active backpacker and backcountry explorer for most of his life, trying out the latest gear and tech on the trails. He has a German shepherd mutt mix that keeps him walking morning and nights.

    He enjoys fishing, bow hunting, martial arts, hot springs, and generally relaxing anywhere near water with his girlfriend.

ANGELA MCCLAIN
Coordinator / Manager

Since joining Aesthetic Oral Arts Dental Laboratory in 2024, Angela has been dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring clients receive reliable support from start to finish.

  • As Office Manager, she oversees the laboratory's daily operations, coordinates communication with dental practices, and helps ensure every case is managed with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.

    Originally from the small mining town of Grass Valley, California, Angela relocated to Montana in 2022. Growing up, she was actively involved in 4-H and FFA, where she raised and

    showed livestock. She continued to show dairy cattle though her twenty's. She also trained as a member of an animal evacuation team, helping rescue and relocate animals during natural disasters. Through this work, she played a role in saving the lives of numerous animals while gaining valuable experience in teamwork, preparedness, and remaining calm under pressure.

    These experiences continue to shape the dedication, compassion, and strong work ethic she brings to Aesthetic Oral Arts every day.

    Outside of the office, Angela enjoys embracing Montana's outdoor lifestyle and building lasting relationships with the dental professionals and clients Aesthetic Oral Arts is proud to serve.

TRISHA KOFFMAN
Bookkeeper / Manager

Trisha was born and raised in Utah and eventually found her home in Montana, where she enjoys the beauty and adventure of the outdoors.

  • As the proud mother of an amazing 11-year-old son, her greatest joy is spending quality time with him. Professionally, she brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial side of business, with a strong background in bookkeeping, supporting business growth, and helping organizations succeed through exceptional customer service.

    When she is not working, you’ll most likely find her on the golf course, anywhere outdoors, or sharing adventures with her son. She values hard work, family, and making the most of every opportunity.
